This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Every winter, sandhill cranes (Antigone canadensis) come by the thousands to winter over along the Rio Grande in New Mexico. The distinctive calls of the cranes often haunt my dreams in the winter. I photographed this pair at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, and added digital texturing to the image to reflect the sense of magic I felt when I saw them.

About Jane Selverstone
I am a retired geologist with a long-standing passion for photography. I am generally drawn to interesting textures and lighting wherever I find them, but most of my photographic efforts occur outdoors. I love to work in black and white, but some images still cry out for color. I have been fortunate in being able to travel extensively for work - and fun - over the years, and I always find opportunities for photo exploration when on the move.
