It is the stuff of memories – a childhood spent in the country, wandering through the fields and the meadows around one’s home.

And because a child is very small, the field that we view as an adult as a not unmanageable size for walking through is simply enormous, and the very act of walking from the river – located between the blazing orange trees and the embracing hills – is a grand adventure, one filled with dragons and wizards, or lions and tigers.

I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art. I celebrate images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought.
